As you can see below, I made a campaign issue out of cleaning up the old oil production facilities at Haskell's Beach. I'm happy to annnounce it is underway. The pictures below represent pile removal from the facility!

Recently, Assembly Member Pedro Nava and I teamed up to bring the State Assembly’s Committee on Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials to Goleta City Hall to work on cleaning up old oil structures.
